first masdevallia burfordiense/ picea flower

this little guy was my firts ever, was given to me as masdevallia burfordiense, the plant has now just about doubled in size and after flower bud attempt 1 was attacked by a very hungry slug, some snail deterants and finally have my first bud.........

also learned that masdevallia burfordiense is a synonum for masdevallia angulata, and thus seems that this little chid of mine could actually be masdevallia picea.....

although the confusion, and simularities to masd. picea, i'll stick to the name tag i got it with and just add on the masd. picea just for further reference......

i'm pretty impressed and chuffed with my firts official flower........
