Smile My lepanthes collection

Hi guys,

Lol!! Kinda funny that i am posting this thread right after another thread screaming "HELP!! Lepanthes almost dead"...but anyways...wanted to do this before as well...now is as best as a time as any.

Here are couple of my lepenthes.

L. telipogoniflora (had this for 3y+ now...my absolute favourite...bar none...fell in love with this 6y ago when I saw it in a picture comparing it to a N. aristolochioides pitcher)

L. calodycton (sp.) ...can never spell it right. ANyways...got this last year...or actually...around feb of this year. People were right...this baby is a tough bugger. Love him.

L. gargoyla (The toughest lepanthes I have ever grown...lol (if you consider 4 lepanthes species as experience)

and a treat from 'him' (or 'her')....I think I'll like 'HER'

And finally, as before, a irrelevant photo...but something significant for me...I managed to grow a nepenthes vertically on a wall of moss.

N. campanulata

PS:: Now I got your attention, can you guys please look over here and offer any advice? http://www.orchidboard.com/community...most-dead.html

cheers,

Varun

I love lepanthes. I think they are very interesting and fun to grow. I loved the pictures. I'm sure you'll acquire more along the way. Thanks for posting.

Great plants and pics!

I love calodycton and telipogoniflora especially. I'm still to get a telipogoniflora but it's pretty high on my wishlist. calodycton seems to like me, so time to try another

Ok, first off, its great to see another Canadian on the Board! Secondly, what a great collection you have there! I'm guessing you grow in a terrarium?

That is a magnificent array of healthy lepanthes...now if you managed to have this beauties: I am sure you can revive those dying ones you got damaged on the mail...moisturize and aerate is my advice it will all perk up soon

Thanks for comments. Yes! I grow them in a tank with my highland nepenthes collection. The lepanthes are only companion plants for me. I am a hardcore nepenthes addict. lol!
Yeah bud.. I hope those new plants can recover. The pictures of prospective flowers are keeping me hoping and waiting. Will be exciting.

Very cool looking! Can we see a pic of your entire set up (ie. the whole tank you have them growing in)? Thanks!
