Like little white birds in flight, the 5 cm flowers dwarf the plant. Certainly one of the most attractive species in this genus:

Thanks for looking - it's generally considered cool to cold growing and probably not amenable to your temperatures.

I don't think so either. I'm trying to grow some Pleuros indoors in a small terrarium, but I still think I'm stretching it trying to grow intermediate species.

I grew these in Houston, but indoors and in an air-conditioned house to keep them cool. That worked well.

My terrarium's indoors. I keep it on my baker's rack next to my dart tanks. The A/C's set at 79-80 during the day and down to 75 at night but I can get my room down to between 72-69 during the night.

You should be able to grow some of the Pleuros at those temps - the difficulty with A/C however, is always a lack of humidity.

What a cool flower. My first thought was birds in flight like you have said.

I can also see what you mean about being related to Masdies. I can certainly see the similarity in your closeups.

And such large flowers for the plant size! Really nice!
