Default Muscarella species

This is a little beauty I got from Lynn O'Schaughnessy. It blooms most of the time. Took a little work to get a picture of it. I used all of the extension tubes and then held the ring flash off to the side because the lens was too close to the flower for it to work normally. Cute plant, seems to grow pretty easily. I grow it on the cool side. It's in a little tree fern pot that I water once or twice per day.

Sure does. Similar lip, anyway. Petals are different, and the alignment of the flower isn't quite the same (megalops appears to usually open pretty widely and the petals sweep back. This one never opens widely, and the petals sweep forward). I'm going to send it down to Dr. Leur when I have the time... I'll post whatever he comes up with!
I was really interested to see the others in this genus when I looked at Pleurothallids.com. Wow! There's not a one that I wouldn't love to grow. These are the perfect size for my growing space.
