Default Masdevallia Velveteen Angel

Hi all,

I got this plant a few months ago, and as soon as I recieved it, it began to spike. So I can't take credit for the blooms. 5 spikes were formed, but two were aborted. Unfortunately I have had problems with aphids and even though they are easy to kill they are hard to completely get rid of. So far they have caused death to two new masdie leaves in other plants and two bloom buds in this plant. But three of the buds made it all the way and here it is.

Masdevallia Velveteen Angel (Masdevallia uniflora x Masdevallia
panguiënsis)
See my most recent article in the link below on section Durae of Masdevallia to learn more about Masdevallia
panguiënsis and other related hybrids and species.
