Default Lepanthes calodictyon

Grow it just for the foliage. The tiny flower is just a bonus.

I wanted to pollinate mine the other day, so I brought out a hand lens. Then I realized Ive used pollina as big as this flower. Ill wait for a gnat to do it for me.

I love these and yours is looking really happy.

I can see you are growing it mounted. Is it in a terrarium or anything for humidity or can you just grow it in more normal conditions?

It doesn't matter where you grow this one but the humidity must be at lease 60%, higher is better for the long term health of the plant, Maybe I should say 70% is the minimum.

OK, thanks Tom. We tend to be fairly humid here in the UK. My new greenhouse seems to be ranging from arround 50% to 90% so might drop a bit low at times.

Also that greenhouse is going to be a cool growing area in the winter, what sort of temps do these sort of things need?

This species is an intermediate grower. 55-80F would be okay. Mine is at 55-75F.
