Default new and improved masdevallia tank

So I had promised to post some newer pics and I guess better late than never right. Here are some new pics of the masdi growing area. Its a 125 gallon tank in the basement with a small fan in the corner and 1 40 watt daylight bulb overhead. Thats it! There are 2 draculas, 1 pleurothallis, a restrepia and the rest are masdevallias.

Yeah there is TONS of space left! Lots of wall space for some mounted plants too....
Dont worry, it will be full before I want it to be I am sure! The orange plant is Masd. "copper angel X Maui Titan"

It stays about 70 during the day when the lights are on and the fan. At night its been going to about 60 but its still cold here, actually its snowing at the moment so once summer comes it will raise up a bit. Hopefully the AC will be able to handle that.

I am jealous - and definitely inispired to do something for myself. Unfortunately, I don't have a basement, so it will take some ingenuity to get mine to stay cool, I think. Any suggestions? Masdies are my fav, and the summer heat here gets too much for them to handle I think. Thanks for sharing!!

I'm planning to use Peltier elements for cooling. Hope it will work. I'm studying the theory of this process at the moment.

Well central AC helps. If you dont mind the cooling bill you can even do a nice drop at night. Keep with the intermediate hybrids and there are even some species that can grow warmer than you might think.
