new haul
Ok I need to stop buying plants! Or at least thats what my partner said. lol! Bought 3 new masdies this month already. M. Red Wing ( coccinea lines x infracta), M. Angel Tang ( vietchana x tonduzii), M. Night Stripes (yungasensis x datura). I figured if I can grow and bllom an chaperensis that I grow these as well. Its perfectly logical right?

What's wrong with that? I have my eyes on a long list of minis this spring when warmer weather gets here.

I don't do most Dendros or large, "floofy orchids". For me it's minis (like Angraecoides), Paphs, and others that crept in somewhere along the line. See my orchid list for complete collection (usually not current.)

The Red Wing should have dark red blooms and the form of coccinea, the infracta gives it some warmth tolerance and very good vigor. Angel Tang is a bright sunny yellow, interesting note is that it produces multiple buds on the spikes. Night Stripes is supposed to have white blooms with the striping of yungasensis. Ill be sure to post pics as soon as they spike up and bloom. Angel Tang has one bud on it right now so it will not be long before you all have a pic to look at.

I agree with scott, infracta is one of my most vigorous masdevallias!
I would love to have that red wing.
