Default Scgl sigmoidea

I'm so proud that my Scgl sigmoidea (aka Pleurothallis sigmoidea) won orchid of the month in our MOS mtg and then won a 3rd place at the Little Rock, AR show this past weekend.

I don't have photos yet.

It had 3 blooms and there are 3 more spikes working.

Didn't get pulled for AOS judging, but no biggie.

I really like it. The bloom looks like a little lobster claw.

I added the photo.

Cute.

If you like flowers that look like lobster claws, may I direct your attention to Plths tribuloides?

Another added bonus to Plths tribuloides is that it has roots with red-orange tips.

I think you'll like this one too.

OMG...it is soo cute! And the seed pods look like aliens. Wild.

Another chid to add to the "want" list.

I like this one als. It's pretty easy (I haven't killed it yet) and it seems to always be in flower. It likes more moisture than most I have though.
