Default New Masda Purchase

I Did it I broke down and ordered more Masdas to keep company with my one lonesome plant.

Ken Dole, Huayana Picchu, Angel Tang, Gold Dust, and Inca Snow.

I also ordered a Macchu Picchu, which has not arrived yet. That was one I had 3 years ago and killed it.

Many years ago, more than I would like to express, I spent several days there. It was very primative at that time, especially the hotel rooms in town. Because of weather we were stranded there. I could write a book about that trip.

I wanted this plant to remind me of our visit there. Hope I can keep this one alive.....and cooler. Wish me luck.

Marilyn

Oooh, great choices. I hope they do well for you.

I've not yet decided whether I will be able to grow Masdas, I absolutly love them. So far mine is growing leaves, which is better than dying

Hi Marilyn, that looks really nice. I wish you a lot of luck with it. It's obviously getting a lot of love.

Great choices! Mine have done exceptionally well in our cool summer this year.

I don't do most Dendros or large, "floofy orchids". For me it's minis (like Angraecoides), Masdies, Paphs, and others that crept in somewhere along the line. See my orchid list for complete collection (usually not current.)

I got a Masd.Gold Dust [M rex -cool- x M. Veitchiana -warm-] - but I wonder if it is ok to grow it in my bedroom in NY. I have no AC. now must be 80F. do you have any advice?
how do you make it rebloom? does it rebloom a lot>?
Also got a M Dawn Glow off ebay - have not bloomed yet.
put these in clay pots [roots stay cooler in clay pots] - medium is moss.
anyway -
congrats and hope they survive this time
