Default Masdevallia Gremlin

This is Masdevallia angulata x Masdevallia strobelii. It has inherited a hinged lip from angulata, fortunately, it doesn't seem to have inherited its scent. (Its described as 'foul smelling'....)

It also has those little blue hairs that are so lovely on Masdevallia.

Its definitely different! The colours took a while to come out. When it first opened a week ago, the flower was still mainly all green.

The lip is a lot of fun, too, moving at the slightest breeze. But it is the little hairs (purple/blue near the front, white at the back behind the lip) that really catch the eye.

Thanks for looking everyone!
