I obtained this plant at WOC at the beginning of last year...when I was inquiring at Ecuagenera's booth about this orchid, the guy said he thought he had one...when he did find it, it was just a few roots, a few dead growths and a just-emerging growth. He let me have it for free, since it seemed to have little hope of surviving.

Once I got it home and unwrapped it, I noticed one more little growth peeping up from between the moss.

Since then, it has flowered a few times on both growths, and now it has grown a keiki from the leaf base of one of the growths (I didn't know these plants made keikis).

I'm pretty happy with the way this photo turned out. You can even see the next bud in line showing through the front-facing flower as if through frosted glass.

Great looking plant, love the colors. This should be entered into the photo calender contest for 2010.

Up until now I don't have a formal wish list, but this plant just changed my mind. It's on the list!
Super photo too!
