Default Masdevallia Snow Cone

Masdevallia Snow Cone, a "warm-tolerant" hybrid. Just got this in bud this week, and was rewarded with this bloom this morning.

Sorry the side view isn't focused as well...the autofocus was having troubles but I wanted to show the profile of the bloom, which is often lost on masdevallia shots.

Very nice, Scott

Thanks for the side-view, it's not something we usually get to see in photos

That is a cool looking flower Scott. How are you growing it. Under lights, in a grow case?

In a windowsill. Day temps low 70s, night temps low 60s. humidity 50-70%. approx 1000 FC of light. seems happy so far. the blooms are just starting to fade, lasted about 1 month.

That's neat looking. How warmth tolerant is it? I'm looking for a Masdie that could live in Florida...
