Got this about thrre years ago; and while it grew profusely, somehow all the effort to bloom resulted in sad bud blasts. However, this year it finally made it.

Btw, I suspect my plant is mislabeled. I think this is Barb. cogniauxiana.

Looks like your effort was worth the wait. Nice job.

I like the vine-like growth of this genera, along with how it spreads/creeps over a mount. Really like the foliage (and size) of this plant.

Being a hobbyist, it's hard for *me* to differentiate the flowers of some Barbosella species (e.g., variations in color, form, and size). I use to have what was labeled as B. cogniauxiana when I acquired it. The flowers looked similar to yours, except they were more of a pale yellow-color (about 1.25 inch size).

Out of curiosity, how are you growing yours (light, temperature, humidity, watering, etc.)?
