Just a quick update. Since you posted your first reply to me jcec1, I added 2cm water to the cover pot of first my Pleurothallis pellucida and then my Pleurothallis restrepioides a couple of weeks later and very quickly the P. pellucida and then P. restrepioides started growing masses of new roots - and still are. New leaves have started on each, again first on the P pellucida. Hopefully they'll now grow more strongly this year and flower in the winter.
