Default Skagit Valley Tulips and Daffodils

Went yesterday to the Skagit Valley to see the fields and gardens of the bulb growers there and to practice my photography. Took almost 800 pictures of which those posted are just a few. Worked on a number of things - point of view, depth of field, etc, and tried to keep an eye out for the unusual.

If you are in the nrothwest in April you should visit the Skagit Valley - it's about an hour north of Seattle and a great place this time of the year.

You and Camille (last week with her Keukenhof pictures) made me realize how much I have missed the "bulb fields" in the last couple of years. Nothing says spring more than fields of blooms.
Your photography is truly an art. Do you enter many competitions?

Do you live in an area of Canada where you can come down to the Sakgit Valley? It is well worth the trip. As to competitions, I've never entered one, other than some here on OB.
