That's funny!
I have a proffesional photographer friend that says, 'real photogaphers have dirty knees. Getting down to subject level is a natural thing.

hmm... getting a good picture of my cats sleeping on the floor means i'll have to crawl on the floor too. its real hard to do, since by the time i'm on the floor, they decide its high time to sleep on the couch!

A reverse evolution picture for photography could also be applied to the idea that the more serious one gets in photography, the more hunched-over that person will get from all the equipment added on.

Example: Cell < small point-and-shoot < advanced point-and-shoot < entry level DSLR < some lens and a flash added on < mid-level DSLR < larger telephotos and some prime lenses < professional DSLR + whole assortment of lenses (mostly prime), filters, tripod, etc.
You can see how heavy that could get... but it's worth it.
