Anyone else like Calochortus? Once I started looking for them, it became apparent there was more than meets the eye. There are so many different colors and shapes. And the bulbs are edible! I don't try to grow any, but I do like to look for them while wandering around in the deserts and forests around here.
I love these beauties. Where I come from, Utah, they have a variety they call Sego Lilies that the Mormon settlers ate to keep them alive during the first years after settling there.
