Talking my new orchids from memphis orchid show

i went to my first orchid show!

and i bought 4 new plants!

which puts me at 27ish...

one vendor told me that the first photo was a "miltoniopsis which is a miltonia mixed with a phalaenopsis and they're very easy to grow." i didn't think this sounded right? but the flower was so pretty and it's worth a shot right? i'm thinking she was wrong and that this is actually a cooler growing plant.

if anyone can confirm that this is (or is not) a cooler growing miltoniopsis i'd be very grateful.

other than that, i got a tolumnia, a BEAUTIFUL paph lowii, burrageara, and the miltonia(opsis?)

orchid shows are definitely fun with lots of great people. it was a good experience!

this has quickly become an addiction,

but hay, i'm a senior in college with almost a 4.0, i don't drink and drive, and i always wear my seatbelt- so my family is just glad that all they have to worry about is me getting too many orchids. not that bad of a deal eh?

Lookin' good!!! Good growing! I'm sure all parents wish they had to only worry about their child becoming an orchid addict!!

Go Myshka. Your plants look very healthy, and I cannot think of a better addiction.
