Here are some Irises that i photographed a few days ago. Taken with a Canon Rebel Xsi body and 70-200mm f/4L IS USM lens.

I'm so jealous - irises out already? We are still waiting for the tulips to open!

Thanks for sharing your pics of irises. They are one of my favourites!

I'm really missing the outdoor garden...I've been living in a condo for about 3 years now. I still remember the scent of an iris though...boy, do I miss that!

Our irises start blooming in mid-march and finish blooming about now.

Great photography and beautiful flowers. My tall-beared irises won't bloom until May, and the wild ones start only a few weeks before them. Ah, well. Every place has it's own advantages and beauties.
