Default Picasa

May I suggest to those who want to do easy and simple photo editing a free program called Picasa (it has probably already been mentioned on this forum, but has recently been upgraded with some great new improvements including an easy to use retouch function). It does not have all the features of Photoshop and similar programs, but is FREE and works well also for sorting and storing photos on a computer. Another perk is that it comes with a gigabyte of free storage space on the web where you can store your photos for access by others. It can be found at Picasa 3: Free download from Google.

Thanks, Ron! I've been wanting to try a better editor than what came with one of the digital cameras, but haven't wanted to put out for a "real" piece of software. I just downloaded Picasa, and look forward to giving it a try!

I've been using Picasa for organising and doing basic fixes - cropping, etc. - for the past few years. I really like it and it makes finding and viewing my photos on my computer super easy! I'll second Ron's recommendation!
