Default Lettuce (again) anyone?

This Rlc. Memoria Helen Brown 'Sweet Afton m. Splash' is starting to open its buds now.

These two bud opening pics were captured with a Canon 70D with Sigma brand 28mm f2.8 lens.

A quick update for everyone. The rate of opening is just amazing. Just a few hours later and we get to see more colour already.

Opened more this morning - quite nice and fresh.

I captured it with the Samsung S2 phone. The auto-focus wasn't fantastic this morning under low light conditions - where better phonecams would do much better than mine.

I'll capture more pics with another camera a bit later.

When my confidence about growing catts returns I will look to start with Helen. Petticote perfection.

I still love that description DeaC hehehe. A petticoat look is definitely there hehe!

Rlc. Memoria Helen Brown 'Sweet Afton' is definitely available in the U.S. of A. One of the nice things about Mem. Helen Brown orchids is that keeping in the shade helps a lot to retain the green-yellow colour. And then, exposing the flowers to lots of sun (when still open) changes them to nice yellow colour. Best of both worlds.

Speaking of catts ...... time to show a cute gingercat pic soon. Will upload in just a moment DeaC in the pet depot section!
