Two varieties of the same palm species Male
Default Two varieties of the same palm species

Just discovered this fun area of the forum. Although they are not orchids, I have these two Malaysian palms I grow indoors: Licuala peltata var. 'Sumawongii' AND Licuala peltata var. 'Peltata.' The whole leaf variety is Sumawongii and my understanding is that this variety is now extinct in the wild, only occurring in public gardens and private collections. These are just babies, but if you search for images of the mature sizes they evoke a Jurassic Era look.
