Default new Phals

Hello altogether!

I went to an orchid breeder and couldnt resist .Now, I am the proud owner of a
Phalaenopis bellina
Phalaenopsis equestris and
Phalaenopsis lobbii.

The bellina and the equestris have already blossoms and I look forward when they will open. Specially the bellina, because it is said that this one has a nice scent. The lobbii is still small and I think that I have to wait 1-2 years for the first florescence.

Wish me luck.
It would be nice if someone could give me any advice for the culivation of the lobbii.

Thank you.

Regards
Agnes

Agnes, Phal. lobbii was the first Orchid Board project plant, so there should be some information about it in Project #1 threads. (Unfortunately, I wasn't around here then, so don't know specifics...)

Here is one thread where some info is given:

Its supposed to be semi decidour, P. lobbii. However if you keep it humid enough in the year, it will not loose its leaves. If it dries out, it will, so don't throw it out if it does.

Great Phals!. A great source of information on the species phals is Peter Linn at Bigleaforchids.com. Lots of photos and a great forum with lots of folks with species specific knowledge. Good luck. I have 3 specie phals...bellina, amboinesis, and hieroglyphica.
