It will scent stronger as the days progress - my voilacea was much strong about 3 or 4 days to a week after it opened - just hang in there (and after I watered it)
A beauty

The flower has to ripen, or fully open, to produce scent and it may take a couple of days. By looking at the flower, it seems that this particular plant was grown in hot temperatures because the green coloring on the flower is not very intense. My bellina are grown at cooler temperatures and the green is very evident. Anyways that is a very nice flower. My bellina is finishing up flowering after putting on a show since May. I got a question, does your bellina grow new leaves year round or does it grow only once a year because mine only grows new leaves in the spring and none the rest of the year?
