NOID Phal - Yellow
I bought this plant in bloom on Oct 30, 2006...and it's never stopped! The link is to the pic I posted the day I got it...the thumbnail is what it looks like today at about 28" tall!

I've had some (not yellow) go for over a year in constant bloom. Didn't seem to hurt the plant nearly as much as the hail storm did!

I don't do most Dendros or large, "floofy orchids". For me it's minis (like Angraecoides), Masdies, Paphs, and others that crept in somewhere along the line. See my orchid list for complete collection (usually not current.)

I realized yesterday that the plant has never been bare so I decided to see when it was purchased...and was shocked to see it was October!
This is the only NOID that I mind it's being a NOID

Wow! that's some phal you've got there! Is this unusually large for a phal? I've never seen one that tall before. Perhaps because you are in Florida?

Here's my Noid yellow. It has three spikes. The new bloom are a rich yellow but then fade to a paler yellow as they age over the month. And the blooms are bigger now that it is spring.
It was a christmas present for my mom, but I don't remember which year. Probably been in bloom for three years. (I really wish I had the ID because of this floriferous nature)
lol I had to roll out all my black fabric for this photo....

NOID Yellow Phal
I have a NOID yellow Phal too!
I got it about a month ago from a free orchid lecture that I attended at a local garden shop sponsored by CottageLiving Magazine.
They gave it as a free gift at the end of the seminar!
It's a cute little guy with a double spike. It just dropped 3 blooms that it had originally on it when given. It has healthy growth at the spike tips and I am expecting it to continue to grow and bloom for a good long time! (I hope )
I am an ameuter at photo. I hope these came out ok.
Thanks
Dorothy
