I don't do most Dendros or large, "floofy orchids". For me it's minis (like Angraecoides), Paphs, and others that crept in somewhere along the line. See my orchid list for complete collection (usually not current.)

I wish folks hadn't gotten started going for flower portraits. They serve a purpose and are nice to look at, BUT many times lately I have either wished the poster would show the whole plant in bloom or specifically asked to see it. For me it helps establish an over-all size.

Very nice indeed. I as well would like to see the whole plant Ross. Especially if its a first time bloomer. I'll try to remember this when I post pics since I'm guilty of that.

The "main event" is important! That's not what I am talking about. It would be nice to see the whole plant/flower/spike (depending on plant) then the close-up. That's my point.

The whole plant is in my gallery but since you asked for it.... thanks for every ones kind words it blooms for me every year just about new years. Bloom count on the branched stems are 23. The file is to big and I have to go to work, I will resize later.
