mottled leaf phal
This is my NOID phal from Walmart with its mottled leaves that have a nice purple hue on the underside.

That's really nice!
The mottled foliage is primarily inherited from Phal. schilleriana...

There are a few mottled leaf Phals...schilleriana, stuartiana and philippinense come to mind.

I think I have this same NOID phal - very attractive mottled leaves w/purple tint underneath, and a pretty two toned flower. This is my 'ol reliable - sends out long branching sprays that last 4-5 months, works on a new leaf for a month then starts another spike. I seems to be in bloom constantly!

Foliage like that, I could live without the flowers! OK, not really, but its so nice to have an added bonus with a phal whose leaves are generally rather bland.
