Question Please help identifying new growth on Dtps.

I have owned a Dtps. Laurel Lea Baldan's Lava Glow for two months.* The only issue has been some minor stress due to shipping and a change in culture.* Earlier this past week while misting I noticed a slender 2-leaf growth from near the base.* I thought it may be a stray seed germinating in the sphag.* This morning while doing my weekly fertilizing, I took a closer look and the growth is actually coming from the base of the plant.* Also, there is a second identical growth emerging, as well.* Any ideas what it may be?* I hope the pics aren't too blurry as I was trying to get a closeup.* If needed, I'll try the pics again.scroll down for better pic
