I am looking to purchase some mini orchids within the Toronto area. Any ideas about where I could locate some?

I know it's more fun to buy them "in person", but there are many sites on the web where you can order them. One I highly recommend is Andy's.

If you have questions about them, you can place a phone order and talk to them before you buy, to see if a certain plant is what you really want. They have one of the most complete sites as far as culture information goes, and their labels carry the same info.

There are quite a few Canadian growers listed there, but don't know if any of them are in your immediate area.

Thanks for the response Ed. We are trying to explore some Toronto options to save $ on shipping. Thanks for the online suggestions as we will take this option if the Toronto Area does not yield anything.

I live in Orangeville and believe me there is a dire need of orchids growers around this area of Ontario! I have been looking for a few years now in the Toronto area but haven't come up with anything. I have found the best bet is the Orchid Society show in February. I stock up then! I would be interested to here if you find anywhere in the Toronto area.
