This is a bit off the wall and not orchid related, but as soon as I saw this flower I thought of rosy periwinkle. Colour is very similar, although flower's completely different.
Orchid is much more beautiful, but it's worth to mantion that meds made from rosy periwinkle are used to cure leukemia in children.
I'd say both are amazing.

Thats a nice starry pattern at the center of the periwinkle. Loved the zoom, i felt like a bee.

Both are a fantastic color, although I prefer it on a orchid.
Didn't know about the periwinkle-leukemia connection - very cool. Makes you wonder where we are all heading and the medical potential we are losing as we continue to destroy our natural habitats, plants and animals.
One day someone will figure out that we are deeply connected to this planet and all the life around us.
Pretty heavy for a Thursday!

Hey Tindomul other then it’s a doritaenopsis that gets a lot of water through out the year I know nothing.
