NOID Phal. Blooming - Orchid Board

This one is pretty common, but I was still pleased to see it bloom. The spacing on the flowers could have been better. With them so close together it makes the presentation not so great. Any idea how to remedy that when they're still in spike? Anyway, thanks for looking.

I like the color Terri. Very beautiful. You might try turning the pot around every couple days. Maybe the buds would turn towards the most light. I have a branching type and that worked for me. (unless that tpye already did it on it's own

)

So very pretty Terri! The blooms are so perfect they almost don't look real!

I have a noid phal almost just like yours. I know it's sort of common but it's still one of my very favorites.

It's really lovely!

I didn't know you could do anything to space out the flowers, so that they made a better presentation!

The thought hadn't occured to me!

The direction the flowers are facing is fine. I was hoping for more distance between the flowers....I guess having the spike elongate more, so you could see each individual flower instead of them being partially obscured by their neighbor.

I love "common" orchids! They seem to put on the best show! The spacing seems fine to me, but I know what you mean, they could be a tiny bit furthur apart. I don't think that there is anything you can do about that though...

I think it looks great. It looks like your flowers are marching to put on a show. I love the blush it has.

Really like the delicate color on this one Terri.
Not sure if you can do anything about the position of the blossoms. I think it is 'inbred' and called a shingle effect. Maybe a bit brighter light when the spike is growing? An experiment in the making!!

Looks good to me, Terri. I've tried turning mine, not turning, and so forth. Sometimes it kind of works, sometimes, not so good. All the time I'm just glad they bloomed.
