I have a little 13 year old chihuahua who is overweight and slipped a disk in his back and needs to be carried out to do his duty outside. Many people I know would put him down because they don't want to be bothered with the extra chores that come with an old dog.

I intend to show you, but getting both of them in one picture while clean is a real challenge! They may be 4+ years old and almost 100 pounds / 45 kg each, but they're still wildly playful puppies.

I love dogs--always had them growing up.
I just haven't have the living arrangements (living in apartments) to be fair to a dog.

Lilly collapsed about ten days ago and did not regain consciousness. The vet examined her and concluded she had an abdominal tumor that was bleeding. It was her time.

She was a happy, friendly and smiling dog to her last moment of awareness.

Oh, I am so sorry. I know how incredibly sad it is with a senior dog. They are so much a part of your life and you only want what is best for them.

You have given Lilly a wonderful life in her golden years and she must have known she was loved. She looked to be a very sweet dog. As sad as it is, remember her sweet ways and she will always be with you.
