To update: Last Dec 24th, I found a tiny tortie kitten unconsious in the road. There was some blood in her stool. I figured she had been hit by a car. I was about to toss her to the side of the road so she would not get squished, but then decided to bring her home so she could die in a warm, safe enviroment. 3 days later she was still alive and waking up from her coma. I started to feed her goat milk (I had given her some sugar water previously). She first could only drag her body, so I figured her back might have been broken. Then she gained strength, and I began to feed her cat food mushed with goat milk, then she started standing streighter, and began to walk in circles, making me think she had a brain problem, and then in a few weeks she was totally healthy. I guess just time and food healed all her wounds. She may have been a feril cat. I am the only one she trusts. She growls at most other people. This is the only picture I have been able to get where she is not a blur.

So I am now unveiling Luna She now has her grown up shots and will be going for her spaying soon. I have had her 4 months, and think she is now 6 months old.

I am so glad this turned out well. It's pretty much how we always end up with a cat or 3!

Thank you all. My last kitty, now deceased was a calico. I have never had a torti. She indeed has tortitude, and I will always love the calicos and tortis.

I also had a tortie kitten I brought home. She was wandering around the sidewalk. When I stopped to take a look, she climbed onto my shoe and sat there. I did not see any other cats, nor children nearby, and it was next to a very busy street, so I brought her home. She was covered in fleas!

She would do things that I did not approve of, such as leaping into my dresser when I had the drawer open. And she was just so cute, that I could not scold her, because I was laughing too hard.
