Default All Four Ratties in a group photo!

It is rare to get them to stop moving for so long. I took this while I was washing their cage during the day. I put them in a translucent pail, with a blue fleece under them, and they snuggled up and went to sleep. I thought it was such a great picture.

Cashmere (pink naked rat)
Capuchino (champaign hooded)
Sumatra (black rat in the center)
The Amarillo Armadillo (dumbo b/w hooded)

Rats make awesome pets! And yours are really cute, even the hairless one.

Thank you. They are soft, intellegent, and very interactive. They love attention. I have a lot of respect for the humble rat.

I've never kept rats, though I quite like the pet ones, such cute little faces

A few minutes ago, I was playing with Amarillo just like a kitten. I had a length of spanish moss and he was chasing it and batting at it like a kitten. I was afraid of what would happin if one got out since I also have 2 dogs, and there is a cat in the house. Well the other night, one got out (sumatra) and he just hid under the couch, waiting for me to wake up. When I am home the cage is open, and they come and go. Such home bodies.
