Dave, she is the most intelligent dog I've ever had. It is embarassing when your dog obviously knows how to outwit you at times. She loves to make up games to be played by her rules.

Nothing ever occurs around the house that she doesn't let me know about, and that is great when you live alone.

SO CUTE! I agree--it is best to have animals when one lives alone. My two kitties hear every noise and alert me.

It is good to have someone(human, dog or cat, watching over things). Animals certainly have better hearing than the best of humans. Everything I've read about Aussies says that they need a job or they get bored. Meg has appointed herself as my guardian in all things. If there is a noise during the night, she has to investigate, and she lets me know that closing the bedroom door so she can't investigate is not acceptable.

I can see the street smarts in your dogs eyes. All knowing and protecting. Lucky you. Lucky Dog. A beauty she is.

I am well guarded and get my orders every day. I'm not sure what she would do if someone tried to break into the house, and hopefully I'll never have to find out. She loves people.
