Default Tyke (the plant eater) and Layla

These are my two cats... One has a major addiction to eating my orchids and the other has a serious attitude problem. Tyke is about 20 lbs. and polydactyl. He will go to great lengths for a nice orchid salad or employ little Layla to knock down the plant for him to eat.

I have a cat and sometimes he accidentally knocks pots over but it's more my fault than his. He doesn't eat orchids though. LOL

The orchids must be sweet or maybe taste good because my dog loves to eat them also I lost a lot of very good plants like that

I put all of my african violets on the bottom shelf because Tyke does not like to eat such furry leaves... and since he is so large he can only jump that far. I just came back in and he had knocked down all of my african violets trying to get at my orchids. He likes Oncidiums the best. He eats them and then immediately throws them back up... making me double mad at him

They are so cute! I have spiderplant for my cats to diverse attention. Poor thing is all chewed up but at least they leave orchids alone... usually.. for most of the time.... well... sometimes

Thanks Anisa. Yes they can be cute I've tried a number of different plants... He sits there and chews them all down to the soil. Then he gets sick. Idk what's wrong with this cat, haha.

Hehe. I know! I think eating plants helps their digestion (even though they throw up usually) and clean teeth... and of course entertains them. Could be also just a bad habit. Perhaps a spray bottle would help in this case?
Layla looks mischievous. BTW my name is Laila

Beautiful felines!! Just gorgeous! We put up with a lot because we love them so and they know it!! Lucy Anne seems facinated with simply knocking over my paphs and then sitting and looking totally innocent. Gotta love them!
