Sadly yesterday, we decided it was Russell's time. He was old and his body had just gave out.

Heartfelt condolences over your loss, Amanda. This is the worst part of having these beautiful, wonderful animals....their time here is much too short and the loss is mammoth. Whenever I was where you are now, I told myself, though the pain of this loss is so intense, I wouldn't have traded it for all the love and happiness they provided, while here. When we love deeply, we grieve deeply...it's the price we pay. Thinking of You.

I'm very sorry to hear of you're Russells' passing, Amanda. You gave him many years of life, when dogs can live that long ... its truly means there are happy and well cared for.
Pets are a part of our families, its always such a sad loss for all of us.

I, too, am so sorry for your loss. I'm quite certain Russell knew how well loved he was. Even to the end his well-being was clearly first in your heart.

My prayers are with you and all who loved Russell.
