Male
Default my critters

I have several....

Here's Masquerade, demonstrating why it is important for snake owners to have a secure lid on the snake's tank.

Then we have Ozzie & Harriet

Dark Knight [who at this stage I should probably call "Squire" til it grows up a bit]

A sling for which I have yet to come up with a satifactory name

Hairy-et

and finally Peanut

Awesome, if somewhat "different" menagerie you've got there. I have one question...what on earth are Ozzie & Harriet?

Ozzie & Harriet look like Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches. Paul, I remember Peanut from RVO. She's still as cute as ever. Nice assortment of little friends. I like Masquerade's name.

LOL!

They are indeed Madagascar hissing roaches. Ozzie is the one on the right. Usually only the male hisses.

On the plus side Susanne, at least mine don't fly like the huge suckers in you area do! Aka "palmetto bugs" are one of those little "nicieties" that my mom least misses from Florida or Hawaii. [Though the centipedes in Hawaii were truly impressive!]

It's funny that you mention that...I don't see a lot of those nasty alien creatures in my area but the main thing I remember from a trip my family took to Disneyworld 34 years ago is the size of the flying cockroaches!!! Ewwwww!!!!

I'm glad you didn't take offense to my post but I really don't handle cockroaches very well...at all ...and yours HISSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!

They were quite impressive, IMO. Not like the dainty little wimps we have here in the north. They were abbout 6 inches or more long, about an inch wide, with thick subby legs.
