everyone !!!! I haven't been in the board too much lately because my time has been occupied by work and the chids and now also my cute seahorses. The tank is up and running and I got the seahorses yesterday after waiting 3 weeks for the cycling to be completed. Here are some pictures. The male is the orange and the female is yellow.

There are still some gorgonians that will be going in either Wednesday or Thursday to complete the look. I hope you like it.

Wow, they are such interesting creatures. They never seem quite real to me and those have such bright colours.

Really cute, Roly! Nice to have a hobby that is indoors, isn't it? Working with the orchids on these 97 degree days is killing me!!! Have fun with your new ponies!

Wow those are really cool! I'm with Rosie, they've never seemed quite real to me either. I bet they are just as addicting as orchids are!

Thank you girls !!!! I've been meaning to set up the tank for quite sometime now but I haven't had the time to do so until now. They sure are unreal looking and lovely colors and can be addicting as well; however I still take care of the orchids

They're so beautiful. Do you feed them brine shrimp? I've heard they're heavy feeders. The owner of a local marine aquarium shop once told me that if you raise seahorses then you must also raise copius amounts of brine shrimp just to keep the little guys fed. He also mentioned turning off the filtration system during feed time so the shrimp wouldn't get sucked up before they could be devoured.

My home is about 35 minutes North of Sebastian Inlet on the East Coast of Central Florida. Years ago, my family went to a camping facility very near Sebastian. We took a 2 person sein net with us. We drug our net through the shallows catching and releasing seahorses, sea dragons and a variety of juvenile sea creatures. That was a wonderful day.

Roly how are you going to find time to work after taking care of all your chids and now 2 horses?? I do admit they are really cute!! The colors are great. What fun to have another unique hobby.
