Default The reptiles

Well, I figured I'd take this time to introduce some of the animals that share this place, too. It's not all of them, but most of the good stuff.

male Woma

unsexed Amazon Tree Boa (yellow phase)

pair of White-Lipped Pythons

pair of Green Tree Pythons (Cyclops Mountain) female, then male

female Emerald Tree Boa

and lastly, male Nephrurus amyae

There isn't anything else worth mentioning that I own, but other animals in the apartment that belong to my roommates include a Calabar Burrowing Python, a couple reed frogs, a caecilian (some african species...I need to figure out which one of these days), a blue-tongued skink, and a sugar glider. As for where they're kept, all over haha...White-Lips, the tree boas, and the Green Tree Pythons are all in my room...almost everyone else in the living room, and the sugar glider in my roommates' room.

OMG!!! HOW DO YOU SLEEP??!!
I would have NIGHTMARES for the rest of my life!!!
Which wouldn't be long, as I would die with a heart attack!!
Dreaming I was getting squeezed to death by one of them!! Or eaten alive!!!
Sorry, Snakes are my biggest fear!!

Got any pretty pictures of ORCHIDS to share on the OB?

That will make me DREAM, instead of nightmares now

That gecko is ADORABLE! How long have you had him?

Love your snakes. You must have a goodly amount of space in you bedroom or are they still small? What's the temperment like of your tree pythons and Emerald boa? I recall reading thta the emeralds in particular are generally "look but don't touch" critters as they do not like being handled.

I've had him since the summer. Bought him as an adult for about $450. I love that guy.

As for everyone else, they do take up a good amount of room in my bedroom. I admit the woma definitely needs a larger tank. The white-lips are each in their own Vision cage, which have plenty of space for them. The two green trees share an 18 x 24 x 24 Exoterra, and the two tree boas (emerald and amazon) share another. They're all look-but-don't-touch, unfortunately. Including the woma, which are supposed to be rather tame. Oh well.
