Default Good thoughts needed...

my baby Sammi goes in for her surgery tomorrow morning.

If all of our members start sending out those good vibes, it'll help

Thanks

She's got a lump on her leg that will be removed and then tested, as cancer is a known problem in the Boxer breed.

We won't have the results for about ten days so I'll be losing my mind until then

Thanks

I'm sure that whatever is wrong will be completely fixable.

We used to have an old orange and white cat named Ivan. When he was about 14 he developed a cyst-like growth on his neck. It wasn't cancerous but it did fill with fluid (which my Dad drained off with a needle every couple weeks) and got pretty big. We used to joke that Ivan was growing another head...he did live until he was 19...and was then run over by a car. Heaven knows how long he would have lived if he hadn't been hit that day.

I hope that makes you smile and forget about anything bad happening to Sammi. She'll be fine cause she has a good mommy.

Well, dropped off my baby first thing this morning...don't know how I've gotten through the day what with leaving my heart there with her! They say all went well and I'll be picking her up at 3:30 so she can start getting the kind of lovin' only her momma can give her

Now the real waiting and worrying begins...test results don't come back for 10-12 days!!!

Thanks for all the positive thoughts...I truly believe it helps.

*Update: Just got a call that there's a little problem with bleeding so they're going back in to make sure everything is okay...my nerves are SHOT!!! Won't be able to pick her up till around 5:00...this is becoming one of the L-O-N-G-E-S-T days of my life!!!
