Unhappy RIP my beloved little pet

Well, back luck has again struck my pets. The adorable little guinea pig we got only last christmas (Guinea pig resucue) passed away a few hours ago. My sister noticed Noel wasn't feeling well monday evening, so they took him to the vet Tuesday, and by then it got worse. His head was all tilted funny, a bloody eye, painful neck... The vets did everything they could but he went downhill this morning. They never figured out what was wrong, they were supposed to Xray him this afternoon.

I'll miss him so much Being away for school I didn't see him all the time, but he was the sweetest, tamest little guinea pig ever. He's irreplaceable. Noel loved cuddles and head scratchs and would stay hours on our laps. Every morning he would come stand on our feet when we opened the fridge, begging for his veggies and cuddles. The first person home each day was greeted by squeals of joy and food begging. And now he's gone, I loved him so much. And now there's a mega vet bill, all for nothing.
I'm a mess and I've got midterm exams on monday. I can't get my mind back to studying.

Oh Camille, I'm so sorry. It sounds like he was a good pet. You were lucky to have him for even a short time.

Sory to hear that Camille, at least he was majorly loved while he was around, what more can a pet, or anyone ask for. Feel better.

Camille, I'm so sorry you lost your pet. Rescue is a great way to give a pet a second chance. You'll never be able to replace him but memories last forever. Sometime when you least expect it another pet will enter your life and give you much happiness. I lost my 14 1/2 year old Shih Tzu in August. I know how you feel. I am getting a new puppy hopefully in January. It will be a different breed since I'll never find another like him.

Get your mid-terms over since that is most important right now and just keep focused on them. Good Luck.
