Gosh, I love this thread. What beautiful kitties and a wonderful story!

Here’s my rescue, queen Nya. She was just skin and bones with two chipped canines when we adopted her. Nowadays her favourite things are belly rubs, playing, napping, and tearing into raw meat and bones. Oh, and watching birds... can’t forget the birds!

Love those markings, Spinrah! She looks like a queen. The tuxedos are gorgeous too but, ones own furbaby is always the most precious.

Thank you two for rescuing! I think rescued kitties are generally pretty grateful. I know I am!

Daisy thinks the birdbath is her own private water dish.

My cats see the bird baths as the kill zone. Fortunately for the birds, they aren't effective. I keep telling them to stick to mice, packrats, moles, and grasshoppers... but they love that thrill of the chase.

Daisy is an anole killer! I like them because they eat bugs on my orchids. She likes them because they move!

Now that makes me sad. I’m an anole lover since youth, and still unjustly covet folks who have the climate for em.

You are welcome to visit anytime you want. But you better hurry; we're planning to move to the frozen tundra in a year or so!
