Default Phal. Cassandra leaves

My best friend bought me the cutest little Phal. Cassandra. I noticed the leaves right off and was concerned but didn't say anything. I wasn't sure if it was a problem with bacteria, virus or some other issue. I'm keeping this one at work and well away from the others in my collection. The last thing I need is to kill them all, especially since I just started getting them to bloom for me. Please help me identify what is going on with this little cutie.

Oh yeah, HI EVERYONE!!!!

Your phal is supposed to have those leaf markings, it is out of Phalaenopsis equestris x Phalaenopsis stuartiana.

Thanks Joann!! I read a little bit about Phal. Cassandra, but not enough apparently! That's a huge relief!!!! I read that it has a fragrance, is that true? I haven't smelled it, but I also haven't try to smell it.

I don't know if it has a fragrance. I'm really not much of a phal person, I have a few but I guess not interested enough to know which ones are fragrant. I hope yours is!

Phal. stuartiana, one of the parents, is sometimes fragrant, so Cassandra has the potential to be fragrant as well. Your plant may or may not be fragrant.

The markings are in fact consistent with stuartiana and they may fade over time but I can tell you that such markings are a good thing!
