Unhappy Is there a chance?

Hello,

While repotting my phal I noticed that its roots were all rot and that rot has gotten inside, I had to cut everything including lower part of the stem, I' so sorry for this plant, I don't know if there is a chance it will live, I also had to cut two leaves because rot was inside. I put it in sphag. I don't know if it will survive, what do you think?

Sorry to see the loss.
The plant has rotted, maybe from overwatering or water getting inside the crown. I have to be honest and say that I don't believe that it will survive. I don't think it has the tissue or energy to grow new roots. But we will see...

I'm sorry but I wouldn't feel too hopeful with this one

But it has 2 healthy leaves!! May be it will produce a baby, or, at least new roots? I don't wanna trash it, it's too nice to trash it... I put it in sphag and will wait... I can wait.

I don't think that will survive. Not much to work with there. Sorry for the loss.

It probably will not survive, but don't give up. You might as well keep it in the sphag to see what happens.
