Default What in the heck are these bugs?

I went to water my phals yesterday, and I found teensy little bugs, silver in color, crawling all over the bark of one of my plants.
I've attached pics of a specimen I killed, but my camera is only 4x, so I can only zoom so far.

Any help in IDing the buggers would be very much appreciated!

Those look like springtails to me - harmless to the orchids, they eat decomposed bark I think.

Agreed! Let them be. However, springtails love humid conditions. Check to make sure you are not keeping it too wet in the media.
