a root gone bad?
My catts have been growing great in s/h and areial roots have grown nicly on one as well BUT......
suddenly during the night literaly I had one areial root developed a section about one inch long in the middle of the root just shrink and whither.IT isnt mushy it isnt discolored It is really not mushy feeling.The root on either side looks normal and healthly to me although all the roots did decide to stop growing this week and the tips have sealed themselves up.
I have new eyes in active growth and about one to two inches tall with new leaves emerging right now so the plant seems to be growing great.
Any ideas what this could be?Is it just me being paranoid?Or iis this a problem.I did decide to cut the root off about 1 inch before the bad spot just in case since this plant has a lot of other roots.
