Default Possible Pest Prevention

This seemed like the likely place to post this. I came across this when I was watering this morning and I guess you could call it a pest preventer. I have a lot of these in my greenhouse. It looks so complacent all nestled amoung the Den. jenkensii and was not bothered at all with all of the water hitting him.

Every time I introduce a frog or toad to my gh, he disappears within a couple of days. I give up on wildlife in the gh.

The same thing use to always happen to me. I think they just kinda have to take up residency on their own.

I have several green frogs living amongst the chids, and tons of lizards who have gotten wise to the ways of my little dog, so they all stay above her reach and watch her bark at them all day long...
Today I was surprised by a corn snake, he followed me around for half the morning and then disappeared. I tried to get him into the shed to possibly eat the nice fat rat I saw in there last evening, but he had other plans I guess!
