Default Phalaenopsis new growth dying

Please help me diagnose the problem I'm having with my orchid. My growing habitat is indoors. Defused bright sunlight. The room temp maintains 70 degrees +/- 2 degrees. The plant is on a humidity type growing tray. Watered about every 2 weeks. Trays are also emptied and cleaned when the plants are watered. Thank You

I'm not sure what may be wrong there, but I would suggest it's possibly a fungas.

There seriously needs to be growing info in your posts.

These plants that you're asking about, a lot of people in the hobby have them.

There aren't a lot of secrets when it comes to growing Phals, Miltoniopsis, or Masdevallias. It's not a big deal either.

Whatever information you get here, is what you'll get elsewhere, and it's what helped each grower succeed.

So keep in mind that you MUST put details in your post.

With that in mind, I DON'T KNOW WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOUR PHAL WITHOUT INFO ON HOW YOU'RE CULTURING THEM AND THE CONDITIONS THEY'RE GROWING IN.

YOU'RE NOT PROVIDING ENOUGH INFO FOR ANYONE HERE TO GIVE YOU AN INTELLIGENT ANSWER.

Check that, I just went back and read your Miltoniopsis post, and I'm glad you put up more detailed growing info.

See how that elicited a response from someone other than me, and it wasn't some lame answer.

Now go and do it for the rest of your posts from now on...

Anyways...

I suspect it's not getting enough water.

Once every two weeks is a long time.

What kind of growing medium are you using?

King...[the name itself tells us something], I am embarrassed by your response. It is atypical for this forum. There are other ways than a tirade to let someone know that more information is needed to help. I actually thought the query gave more cultural information than most. I hope your future responses are calmer, or don't respond at all.

King, I don't think there was any need to be that rude, and your responses shocked me. People new to forums don't necessarily know what info, or how much info is needed. OB is a friendly place, and you could have asked for more info in a more polite way.

That being said, that Phal obviously has a problem, but it's hard to tell what. The small strange leaves could be due to insufficient water and/or nutrition, and it almost looks like there is some sort of disease attacking the tips. Or the humidity is way too low causing the new leaf tips to dry up. Just my
